Your being rude. If you were just explaining your opinion it'd be fine. But insulting others is just going to far, which just makes you more immature than everyone else. You insulted me when it was completely unnecessary, and are being extremely rude. I have not insulted you one once, and have only defended myself from your insult. Please just got off this thread, because your not expressing your thoughts and opinions. Your insulting others, and being rude even though they have done nothing to you. You've even slightly insulted Pokemon fans.

Overall, I'm not fond of Smogon, mostly because it's not as much fun to me seeing my opponent's team, and knowing exactly what they're going to do. I don't think it's that good of a thing because it's either a switchfest, or you sweep their entire team because it's way too predictable. Don't get me started on Blissey. It's the reason I have more than one fighting type in my team.

Like DarkFire said, Smogon was bound to happen. Kids who want to be more overpowered than others through checking online guides to beat everyone and feel proud has happened on far more games than Pokemon. Still, if they want to use some copied team I say be my guest, it's a hollow victory and nothing to smile over. If you beat someone with a team you planned yourself, enjoy personally, or just plain felt like using and win with them, it gives you a better feeling than just some scripted domination. I'll use a Ledian in online battles, and I'll lose every match, but I still grin because I enjoy the game. In fact, that's why it's called a game, it isn't made for seriousness. Ever see a guy devise a sinister evil fool-proof plan for checkers or scrabble? No, because they're games, made for fun, and played ( or at least should be played )for the very same reason. Umm.. pardon my rabble.

The only wrong way to play is when it stops being fun. Unfortunately, the general Smogon community seems to think that their way is the only right way to play.
