Does anyone think they can give me some advice to help me catch Raikou? I've tried searching the whole of Johto, without flying, and repetitively entering and exiting a route to see if its entered. Nothing seems to work.

I catch Both With this method and i use in other games to,
1. Have a pokemon on front of your party with mean look or block (like tangegroth or bronzong or gengar, because they have hypnosis and sleep powder)
2. Go to ecruteak and go down to route 37, than go back, do this 2 times, so raikou will change his location, so try found in route 37, if you dont find he, repeat the process than try again.
3. If the pass 2 doesnt work with 6 tryes enter in the gym, in the pokecenter, and mart, than repeat the pass 2 again.

The GTS has been a little off for the last few days, and when I tried just gifting a poke it never arrived. I thought that since a normal trade like thid bypasses the inbox, it would be more safe and you'd be more likely to actually get the pokes.
