Menu buttons are not where they appear to be in fullscreen [0.40]

The menus work fine in windowed mode, but to press a menu button in fullscreen I have to click on an empty part of the menu that's below and to the right of the button. I have the same issue hovering over locations on the map.

My cursor won't show up in the screenshots, but I can still show you the problem in the map. Hovering over Violet City gives me a tooltip that says Route 36, and hovering over Dark Cave gives me Sprout Tower.

My intent posting here is to try to help, but my test results don't match.
I don't know if it is centering or top-left aligning the visual / actual map on your end. For me it is correctly synced, although the map is in the top-left on my 1400x1050 laptop display (100% Windows 7 scale factor / whatever it is called that isn't default 125% for display zoom) <aside> leaving the bottom of my screen an empty ocean </aside>

are u in one mode when u open the map and then switch screen mode while ur still on the map?

No, I've tried entering fullscreen in and out of all the menus, and they're off the same way every time.

I found a solution. If I put the game in fullscreen mode, alt+tab out of it, and then pull it back up the menus work fine again.

Could it be GPU driver or resolution related?

What GPU do you have and what is the resolution of your monitor?
