After selecting a move in battle, for a split second you can see the outcome of using that move to the opponent. In this example my Surf attack will defeat the Magikarp, even though it hasn't actually used the move yet.

Ive had that kind if think happen before too.

It's worst when U use an item. For example, I used a potion to a pokemon, and after that the pokemon faints!

I was like: "Nils and the mutherfu..."
But then I realized that after the attack, the opponent used a move that killed my pokemon.

This bug still occurs in 0.36.4 (Upload 2). Also another discovery: if you happen to rank up upon defeating a Pokémon, it will display the rank up before the Pokémon faints.
