On the main page, could you try making the borders darker and move the calendar date images into the column, not sticking out from it?

I mean, if you're up for suggestions.

The background wont change in the "Forum" section of the website. And could you add a background that isn't a huge image ? A small image that repeats X,Y would be nice and it will load faster.

Edit: The background problem comes from IE, chrome is ok.

Glad you got rid of the update timer, it was bugging me for a while there
