Problem with the waterfall in Mt.Mortar

It might just be me being totally retarded right now, but I can't climb the waterfall. I have surf and the waterfall move, I have all the eight gym badges and I yet I still glitch trough the waterfall, behind it, where nothing really exists. I'm not sure what I'm doin' wrong ._. Is this just something that's simply not possible or is there something I could be doing wrong ? Does the Waterfall move need to be known by the pokemon you're surfing on ? Help appreciated.

You just need to have a Pokémon with the move in its move-set and then TALK to the waterfall. Also, please refrain from using such language, I know you already apoligized but it would be best to just leave it out. Thanks.

Yeah, I'll do my best.. I'm just so tired and I've been almost tearing my hair about this, trying to figure out what was wrong! Anyway, It works now for some odd reason and I can finally get some sleep. Good night!
