Not confirmed Turning music on and off in caves?

While listening to the great soundtrack, i decided to turn the music off by pressing *M* on the keyboard, suddenly there was a random crash.

Where were you and what were you doing?

were you doing anything involving an item?

I was in the Dark cave near blackhorn and was mainly training my pokemon, i was later exiting the cave and hit M at the same time *around* presenting me with that crash.
