Solved Where Can I Find Prof. Elm After Egg Hatches?

When I got the Egg I was told that I should give Elm a call when it hatches. The Egg has now hatched into a Togepi but when I go back to the Lab, I just get the same scripts as before. I have even been to his house and Mr. Pokemon's house but there is no sign of him. Where am I meant to go?

That's just dialogue the game uses. You never have to actually go to Elm.
So, move on to whatever city is next on your quest

Well, in the G/S/C remakes for the DS, you get an everstone by taking the togepi back to him. I don't remember if you got anything for bringing the hatched togepi to Elm in the original G/S/C
