Pokemon Input

How do you input a Pokemon into the game with notepad and the Party file. For example, I tried putting a lv 20 Squirtle in by changing the files and i put the attack numbers in correctly as well as the stats. What is the correct way to put in a Pokemon to your party?

You have to make sure of a lot of things. Always Double check all you're values, your game will crash if there is a single missing number or character. Make sure there is not another line after the new one. That one has killed me a bunch of times.
That link is a list of (nearly) perfect codes for pokemon 1-151. The experience levels are really screwy.

Thanks, I had everything right but the missing stat number. Thanks for trying to help. Oh and do you know if all of the pokemon from gen 2 and 1 are implemented in the game?

They most certainly are. And if you'd like i can give you files for 3-5.
